Nigel's Youthwork Experience

Nigel has been involved in youth ministry for over 20 years, a significant portion of which was part of the full-time staff at YFC which he became a part of in th UK (Warrington) before moving to Australia (Victoria). During this time he has been a voluntary youth leader at a local church and the coordinator for a council youth club - putting the program together, training youth helpers, mentoring youth, calming parents, dealing with church treasurer's, couselling everyone (or so it seemed at the time!) etc.

Whilst being full-time he worked in high schools (taking assemblies, lessons, series, run a memorial service, and counselled teachers, young people, principals - everyone (or so it seemed at the time!!). He has also worked in a Young Offenders Institution for quite some time - in fact he got to know many friends there - some of which he keeps in contact with after having moved 12,000 miles away.

Nigel's Speaking Experience

Nigel's business development employers invested in communication skills which Nigel has continued to hone. He is at home in front of a classroom of unruly 15 year-olds as well as in boardrooms. He has spoken to crowds of over 800 and in several countries of the world including Japan, Poland, Romania, Denmark, Canada, UK and various states of Australia.
