Careers

Many young people are just unsure of where they want to go in life, what career they want to pursue, what course to go on. [Even as I am writing this web page I am talking on MSN with a 17 year old guy in Queensland who just is unsure what to do at the end of his school life].

So - what is the answer?

Spending some time looking at three main areas:

  1. Your personality, interests, motivations
  2. Your skills and abilities
  3. Available opportunities

These will then enable you to assess the skill shortages, research suitable training courses and establish an action plan. if you need money in the meantime then we can togetehr work on a rpocess to get you some income - casual work, training position or whatever suits your personal needs.

Sometimes asking the question 'What should I do' is premature. A more revealing, and helpful question to ask is 'What do I want to see' - either different in the world or something that provokes us to desire something fresh and new. This question can reveal a clearer pictrure of what we should do.

We specialise in helping young people work through these things - and through telephone coaching can help people all over the world. Contact us to explore this further.
